CHALLENGE 1702 Jan. 9 Digital Delights by Louby Lou

I don't know how many are aware that there is a new challenge blog in the blog-a-sphere. It's called Pammie's Inky Pinkies or PIP for short. I am thrilled to say I am officially a PIPette! Of course, I won't discuss my inky fingers, mainly because mine are usually glittered, after being inked.  This week is the second challenge for PIP and our sponsor is Digital Delights by Louby Lou. Digital Delights offers, digi stamps, papers and cut files

I used "Dig You Dolly" for my card today. After all, who can resist a bunny?

I colored Dolly with my Copic markers, using the warm grays. The shovel and flower make me think of spring (which I am soooo looking forward to) so I stayed in a springy color range for the rest of the card. The little flowers in front, which are not as bright, but more opalescent, are sequins from Fun Stampers Journey. My base card and overlay are called a "bib" card for obvious reasons.

Here is my card showcasing the ever so cute Dig you Dolly from Digital Delights.

Isn't she a smile inducer!

Now that you've seen what I have made head over to Digital Delights by Louby Loo, shop a bit (Valentine's Day is next, people) and when you are done shopping, get creating. Can't wait to see those entries on the PIP challenge blog.

Parting thought:  No winter lasts forever; no spring skips it turn.

  1. Really cute, ahhh the yellow of Spring & the promise of new blossoms, oh how I fantasize on these cold, drab days. That little Bunny's smile could melt all the aches & pains that I have from growing older & Midwest cold:)

    1. I keep reminding myself that I actually enjoyed winter, just decades ago...
Yellow is one of my favorite colors because anything sunny makes the day better.

    1. Rain - isn't that a spring thing? Our rain had it's twin along in the form of wet snow. More snow forecast before the week is over. I would love to see you join in the challenges - you make really great cards and they are anything goes so you can use anything you have supply wise. Just saying...

  5. What a cute card. I love how you did a circle tent topper on your card. I also love the thought that no spring skips its turn. I hope this year is not the year it decides to do that. I am so ready for the warmer weather. Great job showcasing this image.

    1. Thanks MariLynn! I always try to tie my posts to a fitting quote - and I love this one (because I am ready for spring) and the one on the Tuesday Throwdown snowflake challenge post. I think Betty White nailed my feelings after yesterday's storm that went through here.
