Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #323 - Anything Goes

Welcome back! Today is another Tuesday Throwdown challenge and our sponsor is SugarPea Designs. I used their Nativity Scape steel die for my card today and went for a classic Christmas look.

I choose a dark red cardstock for the base, which is 8 by 9 inches, scored at 4 inches. Finished card is 4 by 9 inches and fits a regular business envelope for mailing. The Nativity Scape die was cut from black cardstock and glued to the front. I can't tell you how happy I am with this die. No problem getting a clean cut and didn't have to spend an inordinate amount of  time cleaning little bits of paper from the die. The sentiment is an oldie from The Angel Company, stamped in black pigment ink and heat set with gold embossing powder.

This is a very rich and elegant card and I love the color combination along with the CAS feel achieved with the Nativity Scape die.

A bit over exposed?

Thanks for stopping by and as always, comments are welcomed and treasured.  Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Parting thought:  Christmas is joy, religious joy, an inner joy of light and peace.
