Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 374 - Layer It Up

Has everyone gotten use to writing 2018 yet? Sadly, I caught myself writing 2015 twice this year and I have no clue why. That said, welcome to my first blog post for Tuesday Throwdown of 2018! Our sponsor is Sweet n Sassy, a family owned, Christian based company that offers both digital and clear stamps, dies, and bible journaling supplies.

Sweet n Sassy supplied Rose Blossom to the Design Team. I colored with Copics and fussy cut a small border. The card base is white, cut for a finished size of 6 x 6" . The background panel is a piece of white cardstock treated with Versa Mark ink and Perfect Pearls powder. When dried, it was embossed with "the birds" embossing folder. That's really not the name, just what I like to call it. A slightly larger piece of black cardstock was punched with a wrought iron corner punch (that really is the name) and the embossed paper was inserted into the slots created by the punch. Rose Blossom was mounted with foam tape to the background.

Again, no sentiment as I will keep until I need a quick card, letting the occasion dictate the sentiment. Don't you just love when a card can be used so many ways?

Enough gab from me. Time for you to get crafty and enter the Tuesday Throwdown challenge. If it's new  images you are yearning for, be sure to check out
Sweet n Sassy; their deal and discount section keeps drawing me back...just don't tell my hubby.
