Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 376 - Anything Goes

Welcome everyone. Time for a new Tuesday Throwdown challenge. Our sponsor is Lawn Fawn and it's anything goes. If you aren't familiar with Lawn Fawn, they are a craft company that offers polymer stamps, stickers, dies, paper and twine. The stamps are cute and fun to work with.

Lawn Fawn allowed me to pick a stamp set to showcase and I picked "Critters Ever After". My color palette is green, pink, and blue. While I stamped and colored all the images, I am only using the dragon, castle and one sentiment on this card. After coloring, I fussy cut the images and added the coordinating dies for this set to my future shopping list!

The background panel is canvas cardstock to which I adhered a piece of Fantasy Film a friend had given me to play with. The canvas gives great texture and the film colors of yellow, pink and a touch of blue compliment the colors in the images. A scrap grass die cut was added to anchor the castle. While I wanted to stamp the sentiment onto the card, my daughter persuaded me to use a scrap of white cardstock with turquoise ink. To soften the white, some pink ink was used for "edging" .

I love the happy feeling I get looking at this card.

Thanks to Lawn Fawn For letting me play with their product and sponsoring the Tuesday Throwdown challenge this week. Time for me to go and for you to check out our sponsor and the Design Team's creations on the challenge blog. Don't forget to enter your creations for a chance to win.

  2. OH B, this is so adorable! How long did it take you to decide to get the die cuts?!?! Fussy cutting is a great art, but die cutting makes it go soooo much faster! Love this Fantasy Film you used....you need to tell me more about it! Awesome card!

  3. Lovely as always! You have always been the queen of backgrounds and this background is especially fetching with that cute little dragon and — hey, is that your house on the other side of that moat?
