PIP Challenge 1818 - Newton's Nook

It's Monday. There's a new PIP challenge and it's anything goes. Our sponsor is Newton's Nook, home to adorable Newton, Winston and oodles of stamps, dies and stencils.  They are providing the challenge winner with a $15.00 code for shopping!

Since so many people in my life have birthdays this month I went with that for my card. Pug Hugs and Pug Hugs Die Set were my choice cause they are just too cute and I wanted to challenge myself using black. I find it to be an intimidating color to use in crafting.

Stamped with Memento ink, colored with Copics and Prismacolor pencils after die cutting the pup and party hat. Stamped the sentiment (included in the set) onto light blue cardstock and adhered a ribbon and some design paper. Pug is glued flat while the party hat is slightly raised with a rolled glue dot. Bones are some Recollection brads, colored with Copic marker, prongs snipped off, glued in a little pile. Colors used are at the end of the post.

Don't you love his expression?

All done here so you are free to shop Newton's Nook and join the PIP challenge for your chance at the $15.00 gift code.

Colors used:
  Copics
